Tilecharm – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Tilecharm ("the app") is published by Sergii Chvyr, Norway ("we"). Contact: prominentgamedev@gmail.com.

What we collect. We do not collect your name, email or account data. Your game progress (unlocked charms, Heat levels, Daily streak, the run in progress, settings) is stored only on your device.

Advertising. The app shows ads through Google AdMob.

Purchases. Google Play processes in-app purchases. We receive confirmation of the purchase but no payment details.

Crash reports. From the first launch, the app sends crash reports through Google Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix bugs. A report contains the error details, device model, Android version, app version, the round and Heat level you were on, whether it was a Daily run, and a random Firebase installation ID. It contains no name, email or advertising ID. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Crash reports are deleted after 90 days. You can turn them off with the Send crash reports switch in Settings.

Play statistics. Only if you tap "Sure" on the play stats card, the app sends anonymous gameplay events through Google Firebase Analytics, such as runs started and finished, rounds won and lost, charms chosen and Daily run results. These are linked to a random installation ID, not to you, and help us improve difficulty and features. You can turn this off at any time with the Share play stats switch in Settings. See Firebase privacy.

Google Play Games. The app uses Google Play Games Services for the optional Best Run leaderboard. If you are signed in to Play Games on your device, the app may sign you in automatically; you can also sign in from the run-end screen. When you are signed in, Google shares your Play Games player ID and gamer profile (display name and avatar) with the app, and the app sends your best run score to Google so it can appear on the leaderboard. We do not store this data on our own servers. Google handles it under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy. You can sign out or manage your profile and visibility in the Google Play Games app.

Notifications. Only if you say Yes to the daily reminder, the app schedules one local reminder a day on your device. Reminders are created on the device; no notification data is sent to us or to anyone else. On Android 13 and later the system also asks for notification permission. You can turn reminders off in Settings or in Android's notification settings.

Children. The app is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA).

Your rights (GDPR). You can withdraw ad consent in the app. You can turn off crash reports and play statistics in Settings. For data held by Google, use Google's tools. You can complain to Datatilsynet (Norway).

Changes. We will post updates here.
